The 7 cenotes, San Geronimo  in Yucatan, located one  from the city of Merida, near the community of Sotuta, Yucatan, offer visitors cenotes of exceptional beauty, crystal clear blue waters, surrounded by lush vegetation and wildlife.

In the 7 cenotes San Geronimo,  we only attend to previously reserved groups, it is not a place open to the public that can be reached at any time, each experience is prepared according to the needs of each client and supervising all the details, from the physical condition of the visitors to their gastronomic preferences.

The staff will coordinate every detail to make the visit a unique experience.

The guided tour includes an open cenote, a closed cenote and a typical regional meal. The approximate duration of the experience is 4 hours.

The visit to the 7 cenotes is an opportunity to discover the natural wonders of the Mayan world, living with nature and learning about the culture of the Yucatan Peninsula.

THE ADVENTURE

The 7 cenotes San Geronimo,  adventure consists first of an explanation of the activities to be done.

First we will go through a paved road  in the middle of the forest by bicycle, approximately 1 kilometer until we reach the open cenote . People who are not in physical condition or children who cannot ride a bicycle will be taken by car.  In this place the guide will accompany the adventurers to swim and snorkel in its crystalline waters, admiring the fish that live in the cenote, the roots of the trees, the rock formations of the place and the animal life.

In this place is the salt of nachi cocom where you make the jump from a platform with a controlled rope to the water. ( it has an extra cost )

Once we have visited the first cenote we will return by bicycle to the starting point for the second experience, a closed cenote, totally dark, where the guide will go into the cavern with flashlights so that from the water everyone can discover the stalactites and the whole underwater world of a closed cenote, which can be fully enjoyed because its waters are also totally crystalline. This second visit is like a movie because the staff will have prepared surprises in the adventure that can not be described now because it would lose the charm of coexistence, but it will undoubtedly be a totally different experience admiring nature.

At the end of the second cenote a Yucatecan meal is prepared by local people of the area, on a terrace surrounded by fresh trees, we will have some Yucatecan snacks, a cochinita pibil as the main dish  and dessert, accompanied by handmade tortillas.

You will have drinks such as fruit waters, horchata, Jamaica, the staff will always be attentive to please your needs and the menu can be modified if the client has any particular need.
